HVPTO Needs Your Help
HVPTO events and fundraiser only happen when we have amazing volunteers to make them happen.
The positions below are currently in need of a volunteer. Chairs/Co-Chairs are fully in charge of the event for this year and Shadows are volunteers willing observe and help this year and to take over an event for the next year. We are also always in search of skilled volunteers to help across projects.

HALLOWEEN CARNIVAL GAME PRIZES Chair(s)

We need a 1-day chair to set-up, organize, and inventory the “Prize Room” for the Halloween Carnival. This is where our guests can turn their game “stamp cards” into fun prizes!
FAMILY FUN NIGHT Co-Chair(s)

STAFF APPRECIATION WEEK View Chair

Our Staff Appreciation team needs a View site lead to work with the SAW Chair, help set-up and organize at View as we spoil our staff during Staff Appreciation Week!
DOLPHIN DASH Co-Chairs
Event Date: January – May 2024
HVPTO’s biggest FUNdraiser! Help run our jog-a-thon by overseeing the committee as they work through sponsorship solicitation, event planning with the schools/city, fundraising platform set up, incentive solicitation, and event set up/clean up.

Help us get this new event off the ground – a Hermosa school community music festival featuring our students and parents!
MEMORIAL DAY PARKING LOT FUNDRAISER Chair(s)

Great for 1 – 3 people! The job involves daily set up / clean up and managing the shift volunteers working our Parking Lot Fundraiser.
8th GRADE PROMOTION & CELEBRATION Chair(s)
Event Date: June 2024
Position traditionally held by 7th grade parents. Help our 8th grade students and families celebrate their “graduation” from HBCSD! Work with the school to plan the reception and dance.
